Learn to safely use the bandsaw, chopsaw, pillar drill and disc/bobbin sander while choosing timber from the on-site store and designing a personalised chopping board, with tutor guidance throughout. Includes a Level 1 Health & Safety induction, giving automatic access to book workbenches afterwards (public liability insurance, available at £30/year, is needed for future bench bookings). Studio 2 has no step-free access and three flights of stairs; a hearing loop is available.
