Participants learn to identify UK timber species and shape their own brush handle using jigsaws, straight and curved knives, rasps and spokeshaves, before attaching bristles by stitching or gluing and trimming them to finish. Runs 10am–5pm (7 hours) in Studio 2. Wear sturdy shoes/boots (no trainers) and jeans or similar (no shorts). Studio 2 has no step-free access and three flights of stairs. Refunds or date changes available up to one week before the course.
