Kenan Flannery and The Will To Live (IRL), support Chris Murphy (USA)

27-year-old Dublin songwriter Kenan Flannery makes his first appearance with his new band, The Will to Live - violinist Anthony Croft, mandolin and banjo player Gravedancer and bassist Copper Kelly - blending traditional Irish folk with American roots music. His writing has drawn comparisons to John Prine, Townes Van Zandt and Blaze Foley, built around what admirers call bone-breakingly beautiful songs for the marginalised. Support comes from LA-based violinist and songwriter Chris Murphy, a prolific writer whose work has featured players from Tom Waits' band, Wilco and Elvis Costello. Doors are at 7:30pm.
