Staged as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival, this gig pairs pianist and composer Hans Koller, a Berlin-trained, London-based musician with more than 70 original works to his name, with saxophonist Tony Kofi, celebrated for knowing the entire Monk songbook by heart. Bassist Calum Gourlay, co-founder of the Monk-repertoire band Thelonious, and drummer Noah Ojumu complete the core group, with trombonist Louis Koller appearing as a special guest. Together they explore some of Monk's lesser-played compositions rather than the usual standards. Doors from 8pm, music until 11pm. Tickets are £15.
