Trumpeter Andy Davies, a respected and versatile player known for hosting the Wednesday night sessions at Ronnie Scott's in London, returns to host this month's jam session. He performs with a rhythm section of Soner Ersen on piano, Dave Manington on bass and Eric Ford on drums, bringing what the club describes as an expressive tone and creative improvisation, before the session opens up to visiting musicians. Doors open in the afternoon for a 5pm start, running to around 8pm, at All Saints Church in Highams Park, with free parking available all day on Sundays.
