Alto saxophonist Alex Clarke, noted for her warm tone and fluent improvising, brings her quartet to the club for the first time, having previously appeared there as a guest musician. The set draws on her album Out of the Woods, inspired by saxophonist Phil Woods. She is joined by pianist David Newton, double bassist Dave Green and drummer Sebastiaan De Krom. Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start at All Saints Church, part of the club's monthly Saturday concert series.
