Candlestick Woodturning

This 3-hour evening course (6:30-9:30pm, £75) is fully booked with a waiting list available. Led by Randon Burns, described as the workshop's 'resident turning enthusiast', it teaches the basics of turning wood between centres on the lathe, with participants making a candlestick to take home. It's aimed at beginners, with no prior experience required. Sturdy shoes/boots and long trousers such as jeans are needed (no trainers or shorts). The course takes place in Studio 2, which has no step-free access and involves three flights of stairs. Had spaces been available, refunds would have been offered up to a week before the course date.
