Aimed at beginners or those returning to woodworking after a break, this course teaches how and when to use different hand tools while building a toolbox. Covers marking out with steel rulers and sliding bevels, saw and plane types, pilot-drilling for screws, and finishing with abrasives. Runs 10am–4:30pm (around 6.5 hours) in a relaxed setting; Introduction to Power Tools is suggested as a good next step. Studio 2 has no step-free access and three flights of stairs; a hearing loop is available.
