This Sunday day course (10am-4:30pm, £130) is fully booked with a waiting list available. It teaches core hand-tool skills through building a toolbox: marking out with a steel ruler and sliding bevel, choosing saws and planes, pilot/countersink drilling, drill press use, and finishing. It's aimed at beginners and those returning to woodwork after a break, with the workshop's Introduction to Power Tools course suggested as a next step. The course takes place at Blackhorse Workshop, 1-2 Sutherland Rd Path, Walthamstow E17 6BX. A health & safety induction requirement may apply depending on prior attendance.
