This Sunday course (10am-5pm, £195) is fully booked with a waiting list available. Led by blacksmithing tutor Isabella Busoni, it teaches traditional forging techniques - tapering, flattening, hot punching, drifting a hole, twisting and hot stamping - used to make a personalised bottle opener and decorative objects, finished with hot wax sealing. It includes a forge induction enabling future independent forge bookings. The course is described as physically demanding, requiring use of heavy equipment, so a reasonable level of fitness is advised. No trainers or shorts are permitted; sturdy shoes/boots and jeans are recommended. The session runs for about seven hours.
