Tutor Steph Linn leads TIG and MIG welding in a supportive session combining technical guidance, small exercises, experimentation and play, building confidence in metalworking. Priority is given to those who identify as women, transgender, non-binary and genderqueer, run in collaboration with Anna Zimmermann's Feminist Welding Club. Sturdy boots are required (no trainers), and only cotton, wool or leather clothing is allowed for metalwork (no shorts or synthetic fabrics). Studio 2 has no step-free access and three flights of stairs; a hearing loop is available. This session is fully booked, with a waiting list available.
