Mama Jojo has been performing since the 1970s cabaret stages of London and is credited as the first person in the UK to teach burlesque dance, a practice she still continues today. This talk draws on her decades in the industry, working alongside showgirls, drag queens and celebrities, mixing backstage stories with candid reflection on her career. The evening ends with a Q&A session where the audience can put questions to her directly.
