Blackhorse Workshop Open Studios

Blackhorse Workshop's Open Studios day gives visitors free run of the wood and metal workshop to meet resident makers and see work ranging from furniture and interiors to fashion and sculpture. The day links around twenty activities: workshop tours, live blacksmithing demonstrations, artist Nicola Morrison's residency open day, the Responders and We Lift Each Other exhibitions, a sound installation by Marianna Glykofridi/Studio Horao, "Sound of Blackhorse Creates" by Talia Andrea, a Routes into Making careers talk, drop-in sessions with the Blackhorse Activators, free family puppet making, drawing with Barry Sykes, and talks including Collider and Lungs of London. It closes with the Wildside Garden Party in the evening. Entry is free and drop-in, though booking is encouraged to help organisers plan numbers.
