Director David Abramsky's stage adaptation of Dylan Thomas's classic Under Milk Wood recasts the piece as a parable about migrants, refugees and anyone far from home. Staged by the Vestry Sessions concert series in partnership with Waltham Forest Migrant Action, the evening combines spoken performance, live music and Thomas's celebrated poetic language, with a bar available on the night. Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start, running for around ninety minutes. All ages are welcome, though under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. Proceeds support the migrant advocacy charity's work. Tickets are sold via WeGotTickets, with a standard admission option and a higher-priced ticket that includes a donation to the charity.
