Family Make Stuff Morning: Puppets

Held to celebrate Blackhorse Workshop's birthday, this beginner-friendly family session invites a parent or guardian with a child aged 7 or over to design and build a moving wooden puppet jointed with bolts. Using a coping saw and hand-held drill under guidance, participants create what the workshop calls "a moving masterpiece" to take home. One £35 ticket covers one adult and one child; extra children can be added by emailing the workshop. The two-hour session runs in the Educational Space, reached via three flights of stairs with no step-free access. Refunds or date changes are available up to a week beforehand; none are offered for illness-related absence.
