Gaybourhood East, a friendly social space for queer families with kids of all ages run by volunteer queer parents, hosts its annual book reading with author Jodie Lancet-Grant. Jodie writes LGBTQ+ inclusive books for families and is a queer parent herself; this year she presents her latest title, 'The Glamorous Grandmas'. Her earlier book 'The Pirate Mums' was the first two-mum-family story broadcast as a CBeebies bedtime story, read by Sue Perkins, and Jodie has spoken about queer representation in children's culture on BBC Radio 2 and Newsround.
