Don't consider the word of any minor on if a game is appropriate on their behalf. In case a game is rated M for adult, there is generally a valid reason for doing it. Research your options on the very hot new activity your kid is pleading for. Make sure it is something you would like them actively playing before you decide to spend money on it.
