This weekend brings a punk festival, a jazz jam session and a party for LGBTQIA+ elders, alongside the usual markets and a free England screening. Here's where to spend your Friday to Sunday.
Friday night
Oscar Jerome plays Signature Brew Blackhorse Road from 7pm. The UK singer-songwriter, formerly of Kokoroko, brings his live show to the taproom.
Hand Leg Comedy takes over the Upstairs Bar at Walthamstow Trades Hall from 7.30pm to 10pm. Host Ed Mulvey brings together a line-up of hand-picked up-and-coming stand-ups.
If you'd rather watch football, UEFA Nations League: Ukraine v Northern Ireland is showing free on the big screen in Signature Brew's outdoor yard from 7.45pm.
Saturday
Start the day at the Sunday Market — yes, held on Saturday — in the Signature Brew taproom from midday, with local food and drink stalls and a dog- and family-friendly welcome.
Also from midday, Decolonise Fest 2026 fills Signature Brew with live punk bands, panels and workshops made by and for people of colour.
For something quieter, Earthly Paradise: Radical Living in the UK opens at the William Morris Gallery. The touring exhibition traces 200 years of radical and alternative living in Britain, from William Morris to Derek Jarman, and it's free to visit with a suggested £5 donation.
England fans have another free screening to look forward to: UEFA Nations League: Croatia v England is on the big screen at Signature Brew from 5pm.
In the evening, Alan Davies: Think Ahead brings stand-up to Soho Theatre Walthamstow from 7.30pm, with the show being professionally filmed as a special recording. Tickets start at £33.50.
Sunday
The Walthamstow Farmers Market sets up in the Town Square from 10am to 2pm, free to browse, with fresh produce, meat, dairy and bread.
Families can head to Young Love Club: The Beatles Special at Big Penny Social from 2pm, a family-friendly indie disco built around Beatles classics, with face paint and bubbles. Tickets start at £5.
From 1pm, Silver Pride fills Walthamstow Trades Hall with an afternoon and evening of dancing, performances and cake. Now in its fifth year, it's a celebration for LGBTQIA+ people over 50, with entry by sliding-scale donation.
And from 5pm, veteran guitarist Jim Mullen leads a Jam Session at All Saints Church in Highams Park, playing a first set before opening the floor to attending musicians. It's £10 to watch, or £5 if you're joining in.
Note that the Blackhorse Workshop's Introduction to Hand Tools course is sold out, so you'll need to join the waiting list if you fancy building a toolbox another weekend.
