A weekly farmers market running since September 2007, held in the Town Square by The Mall/Central Shopping Centre, off the High Street. Stalls sell fresh farm produce including biodynamic fruit and veg, unpasteurised dairy, organic meat and poultry, artisan breads, cheeses and honey. Runs rain or shine. Dogs are welcome if well behaved, and shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags. Some stalls take card payment but a cash machine is also available on the square. Not every vendor attends every week.
