The Fantasy of Deer Warrior (1961) follows forest creatures, centred on a deer warrior competing for love while fending off wolves, told through actors in animal costumes. The programme notes highlight its queer camp appeal and possible political undertones, describing director Zhang Ying's film as a whimsical take incorporating elements of Aesop's Fables. As with the venue's other screenings, there's a bar serving local beer and wine plus snacks, and pay-what-you-can tickets are available. Doors are at 6:30pm for a 7:30pm start, running to around 10pm.
