A two-hour walking tour looking at how the Walthamstow Wetlands site has changed over the centuries, covering what the land was like before the reservoirs were built, the people who constructed them, and context from the 18th and 19th centuries. It follows reserve paths with some inclines, so comfortable footwear is advised. The tour is aimed mainly at adults, though young people aged 11+ can join with an adult. It's free with a suggested £5 donation, booked through Eventbrite.
Listing from London Wildlife Trust. Times and prices can change — check their page before you travel.
