Shut Up and Write

Shut Up and Write is a weekly Sunday session upstairs in Flukes Clubhouse at Big Penny Social, open to writers at any stage of a project, whether that's a novel, blog, coursework, lyrics or journal. Arrive by 12:15pm for a 12:30pm start; the format is two 45-minute blocks of focused, silent writing separated by a short break, so bring whatever you're working on plus a laptop or notebook. There's no sharing, critique or unsolicited advice during the writing itself, though people often chat informally before and after. It's hosted by Tiffany and organised through Meetup, and continues weekly with no stated end date, so it's a good option for anyone who wants accountable writing time away from home distractions.
