Language Exchange Afternoons is a relaxed, in-person meetup at The Old Station Yard Cafe for adults wanting to practise a foreign language. This session focuses on Mandarin Chinese, with cue cards and activities provided to help stimulate conversation; learners of all levels are welcome. The event is for ages 16 and over. Tickets include a drink and a toastie, or a drink and a slice of cake; no specific start time is stated on the booking page. Free parking is available nearby. Booking is essential via Eventbrite, with refunds available up to seven days before the event. It is part of a regular series that rotates through different languages on selected Saturdays.
