Introduction to Blacksmithing (inc. Forge Induction)

An experienced blacksmith teaches traditional forging techniques — tapering, flattening, hot punching, drifting, twisting and hot stamping — to make a personalised bottle opener and decorative objects. Includes forge induction, enabling independent use of the facility afterwards. Suits beginners interested in metalwork; the work is physically demanding. Wear sturdy shoes/boots and long trousers (no trainers or shorts). Runs 10am–5pm. The venue is wheelchair accessible with ground-floor facilities. Refunds available up to one week before the start date.
