Out Laws (2025, 79 minutes, rated 15), directed by Lexi Powner and James Lewis, follows three activists who took on and won fights to repeal anti-LGBT legislation in their home countries of Namibia, Barbados and Sri Lanka. After the screening, co-director James Lewis joins a Q&A to discuss the film and how audiences can contribute to dismantling colonial-era laws still used against LGBT communities around the world. The venue has step-free access, and pay-what-you-can tickets are available for anyone who needs them. Doors are at 6:30pm for a 7:30pm start, running to around 10pm.
