A drop-in family session exploring seasonal habitats and wildlife, with the chance to find woodlice, spiders, worms and toads among the autumn vegetation. Activities include using nets to look at pond life and searching under logs for minibeasts. Suitable for all ages, with children accompanied by a responsible adult throughout; no booking needed, just drop in. Dress for outdoor conditions. Meet by the outdoor classroom area beside the Engine House. Free, with donations welcome.
