A casual, drop-in family session exploring the reserve's smaller residents - toads, tadpoles, woodlice and worms among them - through pond netting and searching under logs. It's aimed at children of all ages, who must stay with an accompanying adult throughout, and is led by the Trust's Learning & Engagement team. No booking or equipment is needed; just turn up at the outdoor classroom beside the Engine House. It's free, though donations are welcome.
Listing from London Wildlife Trust. Times and prices can change — check their page before you travel.
