Introduction to Hedgehogs

A workshop about one of Britain's most recognisable animals, covering the hedgehog lifecycle, ecology and conservation. Includes a hands-on activity making footprint tunnels used to monitor hedgehog presence. Runs 11am-1pm at the Engine House Visitor Centre. Aimed at adults 18+, with young people 11+ welcome if accompanied by a responsible adult; beginners welcome. Accessible trails and ramps lead to the café, toilets and shop; assistance dogs only. Tickets cost £15, booking essential via Eventbrite, with a full refund available if cancelled at least 7 days before the event.
