After a short introduction to bats, a guide leads the group out onto the reserve after dark with bat detectors to try to spot bats in flight and hear their echolocation calls as they hunt. Runs 6:15-7:45pm. Attendees can bring their own bat detector and a red-light torch; comfortable footwear recommended. Suitable for adults and beginners. Trails have gentle inclines with ramps to the café, toilets and shop; assistance dogs only. Meets at the main car park. Tickets cost £15. This session is now fully booked, with no further tickets available.
