Walthamstow FC has set up a girls' section for the 2026-27 season, adding three competitive teams to the club.
The new squads will play at under-18, under-16 and under-14 level in the Essex Girls League.
Vice chairman Andrzej Perkins said: "I'm delighted to welcome the players, parents and management to the Walthamstow FC family."
He said the teams were not simply playing under the Walthamstow name but were a true part of the club, and would contribute to what it goes on to achieve. The section has been set up to create a pathway through to the women's first team as the club continues to build up its youth structure.
Players interested in joining can get in touch with the managers of each team: Shaq for the under-18s, Ernest for the under-16s and Aaron for the under-14s.
