The newly restored Soho Theatre Walthamstow officially opened its doors on May 2, 2025, marking a significant addition to the local arts scene. The venue, housed in the historic 1930s Granada cinema, features a 960-seat auditorium and a studio space.

Its inaugural program includes a variety of performances, from comedy and cabaret to theatre, featuring artists such as Amy Gledhill, Bridget Christie, and Tim Minchin. The theatre also offers community-focused activities, including workshops and taster sessions for aspiring performers.

The reopening of the site brings a cultural revival to Walthamstow, offering both residents and visitors a unique venue that blends heritage with contemporary performance.
