A person has died after being struck by a train at Walthamstow Queen's Road Overground station on the morning of 16th September.
Emergency services were alerted to the station at around 5.55am. British Transport Police confirmed that the person was pronounced dead at the scene. Their age and gender have not been released.
BTP said the incident "is not being treated as suspicious" and that a file will be prepared for the coroner.
The London Ambulance Service said it was called at 5.57am to reports of a person hit by a train. It sent a fast response car, an incident response officer, paramedics from its hazardous area response team, and a trauma team travelling by car. A trauma team from London's Air Ambulance also attended.
Transport for London suspended services on the Suffragette line between South Tottenham and Barking Riverside while police and paramedics worked at the station. Services on the line have since returned to normal.
