Lloyd Park Playground Revamp Unveiled in Walthamstow

Walthamstow's Lloyd Park has reopened its playground following a £250,000 refurbishment funded by the community infrastructure levy. The revamped area features a ninja trail, zip-wire, climbing structures, and inclusive equipment designed for children of all abilities. A communication panel has also been installed to assist those with speech challenges.
Deputy Leader Clyde Loakes, who attended the opening, emphasized the importance of outdoor play for children's development and thanked the local community for their input in the design process. Lloyd Park attracts over two million visitors annually, and the upgraded playground aims to enhance the experience for families.
