An intensive two-day weekend course covering both spindle and faceplate turning on the wood lathe, including lathe safety training, guided practice exercises and the chance to finish several wooden objects to take home. Runs 10am-4:30pm on both the Saturday and Sunday as a single booking covering both days. £295. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dusty, plus sturdy shoes or boots (no trainers); avoid synthetic fabrics. Studio 2 has no step-free access (three flights of stairs); the main Workshop and Cafe are wheelchair accessible with a ground-floor toilet, hearing loop and blue badge parking available on request.
