Held in St Mary's Welcome Centre, the church hall just across the churchyard, Walthamstow Welcomes Cafe is a free drop-in service staffed by trained volunteers who help people access benefits, support or services - including examples such as Blue Badge applications, PIP forms and Transport for London matters. Visitors do not need a specific problem to attend; some simply come for refreshments and conversation. It normally runs every Wednesday from 10am to noon, with some alternate Saturdays also offered. No appointment is required, though a 30-minute slot can be booked in advance online via Calendly for those who prefer it.
Listing from St Mary's Walthamstow. Times and prices can change — check their page before you travel.
