Edward Abbiati & The Rattling Chains (Italy)

Ed Abbiati, formerly of Americana act Lowlands, leads this horn-backed rock ensemble blending influences from Springsteen and Tom Petty to folk traditions. Abbiati describes the band as "a group of friends/bandmates" playing for fun rather than polish - "This isn't about perfection, it's about having fun and getting raucous." Support comes from Red Hash (Tomas Peters and Sam Barker), playing melodic, powerful rock rooted in 60s-70s influences with a contemporary edge. Show from 7:30pm at Leytonstone Social Club.
