Family Day: Welcome Home

This free family day celebrates the Gallery's reopening and new permanent collection display. Working with artist Lucy Rainbow, families design welcome-themed front doors exploring ideas of belonging and new beginnings, and take home a screenprinted poster souvenir. Visitors can also pick up a new family trail and activity booklet for the Earthly Paradise exhibition. It is a drop-in session best suited to children aged 4 and over, who must be accompanied by an adult; last entry is 3:45pm. The Learning Rooms on the second floor are reached by lift, and a quiet breakout space with sensory satchels is available for visitors who need it.
