Senior Reserves Officer Amy leads this tour into areas of Walthamstow Wetlands not normally open to visitors, explaining London Wildlife Trust's conservation work at its largest reserve, including support for migratory birds, reptile monitoring and rare bee populations. This September outing focuses on meadow and reedbed ecology in early autumn. The walk lasts around 1.5 hours; sturdy footwear, water and binoculars are recommended.
